How does "anything you want" sound? We have genuine products sellers with quality, durable, affordable products and experts service providers representing every technical, professional, and creative field.

Just give us the details about the request (products or services) you need, and our product sellers and service providers will get it done faster, better, and cheaper than you could possibly imagine. This includes:

Small tasks, large tasks, anything in between
Tasks that are on fixed price,
Task that requires specific product type and specification or service with a skill sets, costs, or scheduling requirements.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Post a request
    • It's always free to post your request.
    • You'll automatically begin to receive bids from our product sellers and services providers. Alternatively, you can browse through our marketplace for already posted products or services by sellers and make a direct offer to a seller instead. after making the direct offer and agreed, you can proceed to post that offer as a request by using the "post a request" button and ask the seller to bid on it so you can award the seller.
  2. How to post a request?
    • Once logged in, click on “request” a pop up will appear, click on "post a request" or you post a request too from your “Dashboard”.
    • Choose if you are posting as your name or your company name
    • In the description area, write what you need.
      For example, if you are looking for a Mobile phone, you can specify the type, specifications, size, preferred color, etc. If you'd like, you can attach a file. Note: You can only attach files up to 1 GB.
    • Select the category of your request. For example, if you are looking for a Mobile Phone, you should choose "Computers and Phones" within the category. Note: In some categories, you may be asked to provide additional information (criteria).
    • Write out the skills you will require for your request
    • Specify your budget from a minimum to a maximum price range. If you have no budget check the “I do not have a Budget”.
    • Select when you would like your service delivered once you place your order. Enter the delivery time frame in days. A delivery time between 1 and 30 days.
    • Select how many bidders or applicants you want for your request. You can choose between 3 and 100 bidders. However you can choose unlimited bidders.
    • Choose where your request is needed. Select the Location State, Local government Area (LGA) and enter your City where the request is needed so it will help bidders know if they meet the location criteria.
    • Click Post Request Note: you can edit or delete your Request from your “Dashboard” before it is awarded and accepted. Awarded and accepted request cannot be edited or deleted.
  3. Choose the perfect Seller (Product seller or Service Provider)
    • Browse seller profiles by clicking on their individual name or company name.
    • Chat in real-time
    • Compare proposals from the “proposals” tab of the request and select the best one
    • Award your request to your product seller or service provider.
    • Wait for seller to accept your award for the request. Then proceed to the “payment” tab and pay safely using our Milestone Payment System – Payment are held safely in the escrow account (In progress) until you confirm and satisfied with the delivery of the requested milestone (Requested). Then the seller goes to work
  4. Release funds only when you are satisfied!
    • After making payment using our Milestone Payment system and money is held in the escrow (In progress) - release funds according to a schedule of goals you set, or release funds only upon completion. You are in control, so you get to make decisions.

What kind of services or products can I bid on and deliver?

You can find just about any request (tasks, jobs, projects, products) you can imagine. We have requests ranging from delivery of products request to delivery service request. You can find a variety of requests that suit you and you can deliver on Megacity.com.ng

Just complete your profile, add your business name from your “Dashboard”– to get to dashboard, click on your profile icon and select “dashboard” from the drop down menu and make sure you select category (you can select more than one category for your business) so you can get instant email alerts and we can match you to the right requests.

How do I get started?

  1. Register and Complete your profile
    • Add your Business name from the “Dashboard” – go to dashboard from your profile icon “e.g. JS” (You can add more one company as long as you can supply verification documents) and Select the category of your business (you can select more than one category of skills and expertise for your business) so you can get instant e-mail alerts for requests that suits your business and you can deliver.
    • Upload a professional logo for your business profile photo
    • Go through the Verification Center checklist
  2. Browse requests that suit your skills, expertise, price, schedule and you can deliver.
    • Once logged in, click on "request" - a pop up will appear, click on "browse requests", a pool of request posted that you can bid on will open. We have requests available for all skills. Maximize your request opportunities by optimizing your filters. Save your search and get alerted when relevant requests are available.
  3. Place a bid/apply on a request. Write your best bid
    • Once logged in, click on “apply/bid”on the request, on the “details” tab, scroll down and you will see “bid/apply as” – here you can select your company or your individual name to bid/apply as.
    • Enter your bid amount – The amount you want to request to complete the request.
    • Enter the time frame in days it will take you to deliver the request from 1 to 30 days.
    • Check the “Include shipping” if you are charging a separate fee for shipping and delivering the product or service. Then enter an amount.
    • Write your proposal - Put your best foot forward and write the best pitch possible. Read the request and let the clients know you understand their brief. Tell them why you're the best person for this request. Writing a new brief for each request is more effective than using the same one!
      If you'd like, you can attach a file describing your proposal. It can be a quotation, a picture of a product or a service you have delivered or about to deliver i.e. pdf, docx, audio file or video file, etc. Note: You can only attach files up to 1 GB.
    • You can define a Milestone payment – The default milestone payment is going to be initial amount you entered in the bid amount. You can define and split payments into milestone by clicking on “Create Milestone” so you can request fund release as you complete each stage in the milestone you defined for the request. All defined milestone cannot exceed the initial total bid amount you entered.

      For example, if you are bidding on a request for roofing a house. You can define and split into milestone payment and enter separate amount and description for the stages of completing the request for roofing a house so you can request release of fund after completing each milestone you defined. Note: You can define, edit and delete a milestone even after placing the bid. But you cannot edit or delete a milestone after it has been paid and held in escrow (In progress).
    • Click Place Bid.
  4. Get awarded and earn
    • Get ready to work and deliver once you get hired (awarded). Deliver high quality products and services and earn the agreed amount.
    • Make sure Buyer pays for your requested milestone payment (bid amount) which will be held in escrow (In Progress) and the held funds will not be released to you until buyer confirms your delivery and is satisfied. Buyer cannot also cancel funds held in escrow (In progress) until a Dispute is opened which you be can settled between you “seller” and the “buyer” before the intervention of Megacity Team (Third Party). We will look into the dispute and release fund to you “seller” or refund the buyer’s money held in escrow (In Progress) if seller did not meet the agreement of the request.

      Note: you can edit or delete your bid from the “Proposals” tab before it is awarded to you. Always track the progress of your bid and proposal from the “Proposals” tab, so you can “accept” or “reject” when you are awarded the request. Awarded and accepted bid cannot be edited or deleted
